Supreme Court issues notice on sinking ship plea

The Supreme Court has issued a notice on a special leave petition concerning the sinking of the container vessel MV MSC Elsa 3 off the Kerala coast in May 2025. The plea was filed by R. Saji Surendran, whose cargo was lost when the ship sank while en route from Vizhinjam to Kochi. The court is seeking a response from the vessel's owner, Elsa 3 Maritime Inc.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केरल तट के पास MV MSC Elsa 3 जहाज के डूबने के मामले में नोटिस जारी किया है। यह जहाज मई 2025 में विझिंजम से कोच्चि जाते समय डूब गया था। याचिकाकर्ता आर. सजी सुरेंद्रन का माल जहाज के साथ डूब गया था। कोर्ट ने जहाज के मालिक Elsa 3 Maritime Inc. से जवाब मांगा है।
