Kerala Health Minister Urges Public Cooperation To Curb Infectious Diseases

Kerala Health Minister K. Muraleedharan has urged the public to cooperate closely with health workers to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Speaking at the inauguration of disease-prevention efforts and a cleanliness campaign in Vattiyoorkavu constituency, he stressed the importance of following health workers' guidance during home visits. The minister also highlighted the need to observe "Dry Day" and remove stagnant water to combat mosquito breeding, which causes diseases like dengue and chikungunya. He further distributed a herbal fumigation powder to aid in preventing infections.
