The Allahabad High Court has urged young lawyers to prioritize career development over social media engagement, particularly concerning likes and online popularity. The court observed that certain social media posts about the high court's functioning contain distorted information, potentially creating friction between the bar and the bench. Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal emphasized that advocates earn societal respect through public trust in the judiciary. He advised focusing on studies and case preparation rather than chasing online validation, stating such conduct harms the reputation of the bar and the court.
