6 अक्टूबर 2026, मंगलवार को आंध्र प्रदेश के कुर्नूल और अनंतपुर जिलों में कुल 56 आयुष्मान आरोग्य मंदिरों का शुभारंभ किया गया। कुर्नूल में 27 केंद्र खोले गए, जबकि अनंतपुर में 29 केंद्र शुरू किए गए। इन स्वास्थ्य और कल्याण केंद्रों का उद्देश्य प्राथमिक देखभाल, स्वास्थ्य जांच और 105 प्रकार की दवाओं सहित आवश्यक चिकित्सा सेवाओं को ग्रामीण आबादी के करीब लाना है। इस पहल का मकसद स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं तक पहुंच में सुधार करना, बीमारियों का जल्दी पता लगाना और चिकित्सा के लिए लंबी दूरी की यात्रा की आवश्यकता को कम करना है।
