This action follows his participation in an anti-Chief Election Commissioner protest on October 10, alongside his girlfriend Lekha Washington and cousin Zayn Marie Khan. Lekha shared a photo of them in a police van after being detained, expressing her feelings with heart emojis. She alleged they were bruised by officers and prevented from using public transport after the demonstration.
