Man Facing Nine Drug Cases Detained Under PIT-NDPS Act

Fatehabad police have detained Rajiv Kumar, a resident of Kath Mandi, under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act. Kumar is currently facing nine drug-related cases registered between February 2018 and August 2026 across Fatehabad, Tohana, and Ratia police stations. The detention order was issued by the Haryana government's home department and served to Kumar inside Hisar Central Jail, where he was already held for another NDPS case. This action is part of a broader crackdown on repeat offenders involved in drug-related activities.

फतेहाबाद पुलिस ने कैथ मंडी निवासी राजीव कुमार को नारकोटिक ड्रग्स एंड साइकोट्रोपिक सब्सटेंस (प्रिवेंशन ऑफ इलिसिट ट्रैफिक) (PIT-NDPS) एक्ट के तहत हिरासत में लिया है। कुमार वर्तमान में फतेहाबाद, टोहाना और रतिया पुलिस स्टेशनों में फरवरी 2018 और अगस्त 2026 के बीच दर्ज नौ ड्रग-संबंधित मामलों का सामना कर रहे हैं। हिरासत का आदेश हरियाणा सरकार के गृह विभाग द्वारा जारी किया गया था और कुमार को हिसार सेंट्रल जेल के अंदर परोसा गया था, जहां वह पहले से ही एक अन्य NDPS मामले के लिए हिरासत में थे। यह कार्रवाई ड्रग-संबंधित गतिविधियों में शामिल बार-बार अपराध करने वालों के खिलाफ व्यापक कार्रवाई का हिस्सा है।
