Mutual funds significantly reduced their holdings in several midcap stocks during September, with Rail Vikas witnessing the highest net selling valued at Rs 44.2 billion. Lodha Developers and REC also experienced substantial selling, with value changes of Rs 29.3 billion and Rs 20.7 billion, respectively. Cochin Shipyard and Hindustan Copper were also among the top five midcap stocks that saw considerable divestment by mutual funds. This trend indicates a shift in investment strategies among fund managers within the midcap segment.
