He alleges that water is being sprayed on monitoring stations to artificially lower pollution readings, creating a false sense of safety. Bharadwaj warned that this deception could endanger residents, especially the elderly and those with heart conditions, by exposing them to dangerous PM2.5 levels. He urged an immediate halt to this alleged life-threatening practice, calling it corruption that endangers lives.

आम आदमी पार्टी के दिल्ली अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने भाजपा-नीत दिल्ली सरकार पर वायु गुणवत्ता डेटा में हेरफेर करने का आरोप लगाया है। उनका आरोप है कि प्रदूषण रीडिंग को कृत्रिम रूप से कम दिखाने के लिए निगरानी स्टेशनों पर पानी का छिड़काव किया जा रहा है, जिससे सुरक्षा का झूठा एहसास पैदा हो रहा है। भारद्वाज ने चेतावनी दी कि इस धोखे से बुजुर्गों और हृदय रोगियों सहित निवासियों को खतरनाक PM2.5 स्तरों के संपर्क में लाकर खतरे में डाला जा सकता है। उन्होंने इस कथित जानलेवा प्रथा को तुरंत बंद करने का आग्रह किया और इसे जीवन को खतरे में डालने वाला भ्रष्टाचार बताया।
