गुरुवार सुबह चंडीगढ़ के पंद्रह सरकारी और निजी स्कूलों को बम से उड़ाने की धमकी वाले ईमेल मिले, जिसके बाद पुलिस और बम निरोधक दस्ते ने तुरंत तलाशी अभियान चलाया। अधिकारियों ने पुष्टि की कि किसी भी स्कूल परिसर में कोई विस्फोटक या संदिग्ध वस्तु नहीं मिली। यह घटना चंडीगढ़ में पिछले कुछ समय में अदालतों और सरकारी इमारतों सहित विभिन्न स्थानों को निशाना बनाने वाली इसी तरह की धमकियों की एक श्रृंखला में एक और है। पुलिस इन ईमेल के स्रोत की जांच कर रही है ताकि भेजने वाले की पहचान की जा सके और बार-बार दी जाने वाली धमकियों के पीछे के मकसद को समझा जा सके।
