India Women's Team Refuses Trophy From ACC Chairman

The Indian women's cricket team declined to accept the Asia Cup trophy from ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi for the second consecutive year. After defeating Sri Lanka by 72 runs to win their eighth title, the players did not participate in the post-tournament presentation ceremony. Fans in the stadium reportedly shouted "trophy chor" at Naqvi. Last year, the Indian men's team also refused to accept the trophy from him. The trophy remains with the ACC.
