हैदराबाद के बोराबंदा में रविवार रात एक पांच साल के बच्चे की कथित तौर पर उसकी मां के लिव-इन पार्टनर ने हत्या कर दी। सोमवार सुबह जब मां काम से लौटी तो उसने अपने बेटे को बेसुध पाया और घटना का पता चला। पुलिस को शक है कि आरोपी, जो फिलहाल बेरोजगार है, ने बच्चे का गला घोंटकर हत्या की हो सकती है। भारतीय न्याय संहिता के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और आरोपी को पकड़ने के लिए तलाशी अभियान जारी है। आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी के बाद ही हत्या के पीछे का असली मकसद स्पष्ट हो पाएगा।
