British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has stated that he could campaign for the UK to rejoin the European Union following the next general election. This marks the first time a UK prime minister has suggested such a possibility since the Brexit referendum a decade ago. Burnham plans to discuss three options for the UK's relationship with the EU at an upcoming summit: rejoining the bloc entirely, rejoining its single market, or entering a customs union.
