Man Shot Resisting Motorcycle Snatching Attempt

A 55-year-old man was shot in the leg while resisting an attempt by two bike-borne miscreants to snatch his motorcycle in Dumka on Monday. The incident occurred near Hardiya river on the Dumka-Hansdiha main road. The victim, Shivlal Hansda, was intercepted by the assailants who opened fire when he resisted. He was taken for preliminary treatment, and an FIR has been registered based on his statement. Police are investigating to identify the accused.

सोमवार को दुमका में दो बाइक सवार बदमाशों ने एक 55 वर्षीय व्यक्ति से उसकी मोटरसाइकिल छीनने की कोशिश की। जब पीड़ित ने विरोध किया तो बदमाशों ने गोली चला दी, जिससे वह घायल हो गया। यह घटना दुमका-हंसडीहा मुख्य मार्ग पर हरदिया नदी के पास हुई। पीड़ित शिवलाल हांसदा को शुरुआती इलाज के लिए ले जाया गया। उनकी शिकायत के आधार पर FIR दर्ज कर ली गई है। पुलिस आरोपियों की पहचान के लिए जांच कर रही है।
