The event, held on September 19-20 and organised by the Indian Navy and Royal Madras Yacht Club (RMYC), saw around 80 participants. The Nagapattinam Yacht Club's win highlights RMYC's efforts to promote competitive sailing among underprivileged youth in coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, marking a key milestone.

नागापट्टिनम के मछुआरा समुदायों के युवा नाविकों ने FOTNA Sailing Cup 2026 में शानदार जीत हासिल की है। सिर्फ दो महीने के प्रशिक्षण के बाद उन्होंने Optimist Green Fleet Trophy अपने नाम की। यह प्रतियोगिता 19-20 सितंबर को हुई थी, जिसे Indian Navy और Royal Madras Yacht Club (RMYC) ने आयोजित किया था। इसमें करीब 80 लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया था।
