KPCC president Sunny Joseph stated the post was made without the leadership's knowledge or consent and that an investigation will be conducted. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had previously criticized the post, alleging the Congress aims to dismantle constitutional institutions.

कांग्रेस पार्टी के केरल स्थित आधिकारिक एक्स अकाउंट से भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्य कांत के खिलाफ आपत्तिजनक पोस्ट किया गया था। सोशल मीडिया पर तीखी आलोचना के बाद, पोस्ट को तुरंत हटा दिया गया। पोस्ट करने वाले व्यक्ति को उसके पद से हटा दिया गया है। केपीसीसी अध्यक्ष सन्नी जोसेफ ने कहा कि यह पोस्ट नेतृत्व की जानकारी या सहमति के बिना किया गया था और इसकी जांच की जाएगी। केंद्रीय मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने पहले इस पोस्ट की आलोचना करते हुए आरोप लगाया था कि कांग्रेस का लक्ष्य संवैधानिक संस्थाओं को कमजोर करना है।
