Russian Oil Refinery Hit By Drone Attack, Thick Smoke Seen Rising

NDTV · world

Thick columns of smoke were observed rising from a Russian oil refinery following a drone attack. The incident occurred after an unofficial pause in Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy facilities, which was reportedly expected to last until after the US midterm elections on November 3. This attack suggests a potential escalation or shift in Ukrainian tactics regarding Russian infrastructure. The full extent of the damage and the implications for oil production remain unclear.
