Bhopal Court Denies Bail To Ex-Judge In Dowry

A Bhopal court has rejected the bail plea of former judge Giribala Singh. She is the mother-in-law of Twisha Sharma, who was allegedly found hanging at her marital home on May 12. Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh were arrested on charges of dowry-related harassment.

भोपाल की एक अदालत ने पूर्व जज गिरिबाला सिंह की ज़मानत अर्ज़ी ख़ारिज कर दी है। गिरिबाला सिंह, ट्विशा शर्मा की सास हैं, जिनकी लाश 12 मई को उनके ससुराल में लटकी मिली थी। गिरिबाला सिंह और उनके बेटे समर्थ सिंह को दहेज उत्पीड़न के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। यह मामला काफी चर्चा में है।
