League of Legends Classic to Shut Down in January 2027

Times of India · technology

Riot Games has announced that League of Legends Classic will cease operations in January 2027, following its Season 3 conclusion in late 2026. The developer stated that while many players enjoyed revisiting the older gameplay, most have since returned to other parts of the main League of Legends experience. Riot Games may consider bringing the mode back in the future, potentially as a limited-time event with adjustments. Before its closure, the game will see changes to matchmaking queues and Battle Pass rewards, with refunds offered for Classic-specific content.

League of Legends Classic
