Andhra Collector: Shouting at Sitharaman's Speech Was Enthusiasm, Not Job Protest

Annamayya district Collector Nishant Kumar has dismissed reports of a job protest during Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's speech in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. He stated that the nearly one-lakh-strong gathering was jubilant over the launch of a ₹1 lakh-crore horticulture hub and the Indian School of Agriculture. The Collector clarified that the shouting by some youngsters was an expression of enthusiasm and an attempt to cheer dignitaries, further amplified by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan. He added that the crowd remained disciplined throughout the event.
