An employee has tested positive for the potentially deadly illness, though officials have not confirmed if the infection is linked to the contaminated system. The bacteria, Legionella, was discovered during maintenance work in May 2026, with employees later notified. Legionnaires' disease is a severe form of pneumonia contracted by inhaling contaminated water droplets, and it can be life-threatening.
