The Uttarakhand government has lifted a long-standing freeze on recruitment for vacant teaching and non-teaching positions in aided non-government secondary schools. This decision, made with student interests in mind during the election year, allows school management committees to fill vacancies based on student enrollment. Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat stated the government is committed to strengthening the education system by ensuring necessary human resources.
