Rajasthan has shipped approximately 10 lakh eco-friendly diyas made from cow dung to Mauritius for Diwali celebrations. Additionally, 6.5 lakh diyas have been supplied to 16 Indian states. This initiative, involving women and young people from self-help groups, provides livelihood opportunities and promotes traditional products. Over 16.5 lakh diyas have been produced so far, with daily production reaching nearly 10,000 units. The project aims to empower rural women, fostering entrepreneurship and financial independence through the creation of various cow dung-based items.

राजस्थान ने दिवाली के जश्न के लिए मॉरीशस में लगभग 10 लाख पर्यावरण-अनुकूल दीये भेजे हैं जो गोबर से बने हैं। इसके अलावा, 16 भारतीय राज्यों में 6.5 लाख दीये पहुंचाए गए हैं। इस पहल में स्वयं सहायता समूहों की महिलाओं और युवाओं को शामिल किया गया है, जिससे उन्हें आजीविका के अवसर मिलते हैं और पारंपरिक उत्पादों को बढ़ावा मिलता है। अब तक 16.5 लाख से अधिक दीये बनाए जा चुके हैं, और दैनिक उत्पादन लगभग 10,000 इकाइयों तक पहुंच गया है। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाना है, जिससे वे विभिन्न गोबर-आधारित वस्तुओं के निर्माण के माध्यम से उद्यमिता और वित्तीय स्वतंत्रता को बढ़ावा दे सकें।
