Jaipur Runner Sannat Sachdev Sets Himalayan Trail Record

Trail runner Sannat Sachdev completed a challenging 52.5-km Himalayan crossing from Bir to Bada Bhangal in just 12 hours and 12 seconds. This feat, which typically takes trekkers three to four days, involved navigating technical mountain trails, river crossings, landslides, and fresh snow. Sachdev, an architect from Jaipur who now coaches trail running, aimed to conquer this remote and demanding landscape. The journey included approximately 4,300 metres of elevation gain and crossing the Thamsar Pass at 4,700 metres.

ट्रेल रनर सन्नत सचदेव ने 12 घंटे और 12 सेकंड में बिर से बड़ा भंगाल तक 52.5 किमी की चुनौतीपूर्ण हिमालयी चढ़ाई पूरी की। यह कारनामा, जिसमें आम तौर पर यात्रियों को तीन से चार दिन लगते हैं, इसमें तकनीकी पहाड़ी पगडंडियों, नदी पार करने, भूस्खलन और ताज़ी बर्फ़ से गुज़रना शामिल था। जयपुर के आर्किटेक्ट सन्नत सचदेव, जो अब ट्रेल रनिंग कोचिंग करते हैं, का लक्ष्य इस दूरस्थ और कठिन परिदृश्य को जीतना था। इस यात्रा में लगभग 4,300 मीटर की ऊंचाई हासिल करना और 4,700 मीटर पर थम्सर पास पार करना शामिल था।
