Dollar Gains on Fed Rate Hike Bets

The US dollar is poised for its first consecutive weekly gain in over three months, nearing multi-month highs due to surging Treasury yields and increased expectations of further Federal Reserve rate hikes. This dollar strength has pushed the euro to a two-month low and sterling near a three-month low. Markets are pricing in more aggressive Fed tightening following recent policy moves and robust economic data, further supported by rising oil prices and a bond selloff that sent long-dated US Treasury yields to over 20-year highs.

डॉलर में मजबूती, फेड दर वृद्धि की उम्मीदें बढ़ीं

अमेरिकी डॉलर तीन महीने से ज़्यादा समय में पहली बार लगातार हफ़्ते भर की बढ़त के लिए तैयार है। ट्रेजरी यील्ड बढ़ने और फेडरल रिज़र्व की ओर से ब्याज दरें बढ़ाने की उम्मीदों से यह डॉलर कई महीनों के उच्चतम स्तर के करीब पहुँच गया है। इस मज़बूती से यूरो दो महीने के निचले स्तर पर और स्टर्लिंग तीन महीने के निचले स्तर के करीब आ गया है।
