Zomato to Launch 'Mehmaan Mode' for Group Orders After User Suggestion

Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal announced that the food delivery platform will introduce a 'Mehmaan Mode' this week. This new feature, inspired by a LinkedIn user's suggestion, will hide menu prices during group orders. The idea is to allow hosts to pass their phone around to guests for ordering without causing any awkwardness about the cost. The user, Ayushmaan Agarwalla, proposed the toggle to facilitate smoother ordering experiences for hosts. Zomato's parent company, Eternal, is also expanding into consumer AI with a planned launch of an AI assistant named Dark.
