Bihar's Mines and Geology Minister Pramod Kumar has directed officials to speed up pending clearances and administrative procedures for auctioned mineral blocks. He emphasized that faster operationalisation will attract investment, create jobs, and boost state revenue. The minister stressed the importance of timely production and dispatch from allotted blocks, warning against delays. The review meeting covered progress on specific glauconite and limestone blocks, as well as a nickel-chromium and platinum group elements block. Efforts to strengthen mineral exploration through coordination with the Geological Survey of India were also discussed.

बिहार के खान और भूविज्ञान मंत्री प्रमोद कुमार ने अधिकारियों को नीलामी वाले खनिज ब्लॉकों के लिए लंबित मंजूरी और प्रशासनिक प्रक्रियाओं में तेजी लाने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि तेजी से संचालन से निवेश आकर्षित होगा, रोजगार पैदा होंगे और राज्य के राजस्व में वृद्धि होगी। मंत्री ने आवंटित ब्लॉकों से समय पर उत्पादन और प्रेषण के महत्व पर जोर दिया, और देरी के खिलाफ चेतावनी दी। समीक्षा बैठक में विशेष ग्लॉकोनाइट और चूना पत्थर ब्लॉकों के साथ-साथ निकल-क्रोमियम और प्लैटिनम समूह तत्वों के ब्लॉक पर प्रगति को कवर किया गया। Geological Survey of India के साथ समन्वय के माध्यम से खनिज अन्वेषण को मजबूत करने के प्रयासों पर भी चर्चा की गई।
