Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that Kasari-Masari in Prayagraj, once a stronghold of slain gangster Atiq Ahmad, will be renamed Shrikrishnapuri. The area will be developed by the Prayagraj Development Authority, with houses for 1,200 poor families built on land reclaimed from the mafia. This initiative is part of the state government's drive to reclaim land and provide housing for the underprivileged. CM Adityanath asserted his government's zero-tolerance policy against crime and mafias, aiming to make Uttar Pradesh mafia-free.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने ऐलान किया है कि प्रयागराज के कसारी-मसारी, जो कभी मारे गए गैंगस्टर अतीक अहमद का गढ़ था, उसका नाम बदलकर श्रीकृष्णापुरी कर दिया जाएगा। इस इलाके को प्रयागराज विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा विकसित किया जाएगा, जिसमें माफिया से खाली कराई गई जमीन पर 1,200 गरीब परिवारों के लिए घर बनाए जाएंगे। यह पहल राज्य सरकार के जमीन खाली कराने और जरूरतमंदों के लिए आवास उपलब्ध कराने के अभियान का हिस्सा है। सीएम आदित्यनाथ ने राज्य सरकार की अपराध और माफिया के खिलाफ जीरो-टॉलरेंस नीति पर जोर दिया, जिसका लक्ष्य उत्तर प्रदेश को माफिया-मुक्त बनाना है।
