Mangalore University Approves New Skill-Based Syllabus Under State Education Policy

Mangalore University's Academic Council has approved new curriculum frameworks aligned with the State Education Policy (SEP), focusing on skill-based learning and practical training. The council sanctioned the first and second-semester syllabi for the BCom human resource operations program under the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) model. The state government will provide a grant of Rs 8,000 per student enrolled in the AEDP program. Revised syllabi for BA rural development, BA journalism, MSc cybersecurity, and MSc electronics were also approved, alongside add-on courses in retail management and digital marketing.

मंगलौर यूनिवर्सिटी की अकादमिक काउंसिल ने राज्य शिक्षा नीति (SEP) के अनुरूप नए पाठ्यक्रम ढांचे को मंज़ूरी दे दी है, जिसमें स्किल-बेस्ड लर्निंग और प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग पर ज़ोर दिया गया है। काउंसिल ने अप्रेंटिसशिप एम्बेडेड डिग्री प्रोग्राम (AEDP) मॉडल के तहत BCom ह्यूमन रिसोर्स ऑपरेशंस प्रोग्राम के पहले और दूसरे सेमेस्टर के सिलेबस को मंज़ूरी दी। राज्य सरकार AEDP प्रोग्राम में नामांकित हर छात्र को 8,000 रुपये का अनुदान देगी। BA रूरल डेवलपमेंट, BA जर्नलिज्म, MSc साइबर सिक्योरिटी और MSc इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स के संशोधित सिलेबस को भी मंज़ूरी दी गई, साथ ही रिटेल मैनेजमेंट और डिजिटल मार्केटिंग में ऐड-ऑन कोर्स भी मंज़ूर किए गए।
