Mumbai ICT Student Dies By Suicide In Hostel Room

A second-year chemical engineering student at ICT died by suicide in his hostel room on Tuesday night. The student, who was reportedly undergoing treatment for depression, had called his doctor to inform him of his intentions. His friends were alerted by his family and rushed to his room, but it was too late. They attempted CPR and took him to Sion Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. The police have confirmed the incident and are conducting further inquiries.

आईसीटी में केमिकल इंजीनियरिंग के दूसरे वर्ष के छात्र ने मंगलवार रात अपने हॉस्टल के कमरे में आत्महत्या कर ली। छात्र, जो कथित तौर पर डिप्रेशन का इलाज करा रहा था, ने अपने डॉक्टर को अपने इरादों के बारे में सूचित करने के लिए फोन किया था। उसके दोस्तों को उसके परिवार ने सतर्क किया और वे उसके कमरे की ओर भागे, लेकिन तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी। उन्होंने सीपीआर का प्रयास किया और उसे सायन अस्पताल ले गए, जहां पहुंचने पर उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। पुलिस ने घटना की पुष्टि की है और आगे की पूछताछ कर रही है।
