SC: Fleeing Drowning Scene Not Proof Of Guilt

The Supreme Court has ruled that fleeing a drowning scene does not automatically prove culpability in a friend's death. The apex court acquitted two men who were previously held guilty of killing their friend. This landmark judgment clarifies that mere presence at the scene and subsequent departure cannot be the sole basis for conviction.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि डूबते हुए दोस्त को छोड़कर भाग जाना अपने आप में मौत का दोषी साबित नहीं करता। कोर्ट ने दो ऐसे लोगों को बरी कर दिया जिन्हें पहले अपने दोस्त की हत्या का दोषी ठहराया गया था। इस अहम फैसले से साफ हो गया है कि सिर्फ घटना स्थल पर मौजूद रहना और फिर चले जाना सजा का एकमात्र आधार नहीं हो सकता।
