Belagavi Police Book 15 Pubs, Bars, Hotels For Violating Regulations

Belagavi City police registered 15 cases against managers and owners of nearly 60 hotels, bars, clubs, and pubs during late-night raids on Saturday. The enforcement drive, led by Police Commissioner Prakash Nikam, checked for violations of government regulations including licenses, operating permissions, and closing times. Cases were filed under the Karnataka Police Act, Excise Act, and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for alleged illegal liquor sales, consumption outside prescribed timings, and exceeding loudspeaker hours.

शनिवार देर रात हुई छापेमारी के दौरान बेलगावी शहर की पुलिस ने लगभग 60 होटलों, बारों, क्लबों और पबों के प्रबंधकों और मालिकों के खिलाफ 15 मामले दर्ज किए। पुलिस आयुक्त प्रकाश निकम के नेतृत्व में हुई इस कार्रवाई में लाइसेंस, संचालन अनुमति और बंद होने के समय सहित सरकारी नियमों के उल्लंघन की जांच की गई। कथित अवैध शराब बिक्री, निर्धारित समय के बाहर सेवन और लाउडस्पीकर के घंटे पार करने के लिए कर्नाटक पुलिस अधिनियम, उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम और भारतीय न्याय संहिता के तहत मामले दर्ज किए गए।
