Gaza Flotilla Activist On Hunger Strike Critical

Gaza solidarity activist Wael Naouar is in critical condition and on the verge of death after a 39-day hunger strike in Tunisia. He was hospitalized after demanding authorities drop financial misconduct charges against him and three other activists arrested in March. The Gaza Sumud Flotilla organisation stated Tunisian authorities are refusing to disclose information to his family or lawyers. A judge rejected an appeal against the extension of their pre-trial detention.

गाजा के समर्थक कार्यकर्ता वाएल नौआर ट्यूनीशिया में 39 दिन की भूख हड़ताल के बाद मौत से जूझ रहे हैं। उन्हें मार्च में गिरफ्तार तीन अन्य कार्यकर्ताओं पर लगे वित्तीय कदाचार के आरोपों को हटाने की मांग के बाद अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। गाजा सुमुद फ्लोटिला संगठन ने बताया कि ट्यूनीशियाई अधिकारी उनके परिवार या वकीलों को कोई जानकारी नहीं दे रहे हैं। एक जज ने उनकी प्री-ट्रायल हिरासत बढ़ाने की अपील खारिज कर दी है।
