CPI(M) Demands Action Against Police Officers

The CPI(M) Thrissur district committee has demanded criminal action against police personnel accused of deliberately ramming their vehicle into a motorcycle carrying three youths in Pudukad. Party secretary K.V. Abdul Khader called the incident "brutalities of the Emergency" and questioned the Home Minister on the lack of a case against the officers. The youths sustained injuries and were allegedly left unattended. The party seeks a criminal case and dismissal of the accused officers.

सी.पी.आई.(एम) की त्रिशूर जिला कमेटी ने पुडुकाड में तीन युवकों को ले जा रही मोटरसाइकिल में जानबूझकर गाड़ी घुसाने के आरोपी पुलिसकर्मियों के खिलाफ आपराधिक कार्रवाई की मांग की है। पार्टी सचिव के.वी. अब्दुल खादर ने इस घटना को "आपातकाल की क्रूरता" बताया और गृह मंत्री से अधिकारियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज न होने पर सवाल उठाया। युवकों को चोटें आईं और कथित तौर पर उन्हें लावारिस छोड़ दिया गया था।
