President Droupadi Murmu has given her assent to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Act, 2026. This new law, passed by Parliament recently, significantly enhances penalties for those involved in unfair means during public examinations. राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने पब्लिक एग्जामिनेशन (प्रिवेंशन ऑफ अनफेयर मीन्स) अमेंडमेंट एक्ट, 2026 को मंजूरी दे दी है। संसद से हाल ही में पास हुए इस नए कानून में सरकारी परीक्षाओं में अनुचित साधनों के इस्तेमाल पर सज़ा को काफी बढ़ा दिया गया है। इसका मकसद नकल रोकना और भर्ती व प्रवेश परीक्षाओं में निष्पक्षता सुनिश्चित करना है।
