He advised against coming alone, citing attempts to tarnish religious places. Shastri urged visitors not to blindly trust strangers or service staff, as arrangements for long stays are limited. He emphasized that while the temple and court premises are managed, security across the entire five-kilometer radius is not guaranteed. Devotees are encouraged to remain within the temple complex and avoid venturing out with unknown individuals.

बागेश्वर धाम के प्रमुख धीरेंद्र कृष्ण शास्त्री ने श्रद्धालुओं, खासकर महिलाओं और युवतियों से अपील की है कि वे यहां आते समय सावधानी बरतें। उन्होंने अकेले आने से मना किया है, क्योंकि धार्मिक स्थलों को बदनाम करने की कोशिशें हो रही हैं। शास्त्री ने श्रद्धालुओं से अजनबियों या सेवा कर्मचारियों पर आंख मूंदकर भरोसा न करने को कहा, क्योंकि लंबी अवधि के ठहरने की व्यवस्था सीमित है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि मंदिर और कोर्ट परिसर का प्रबंधन तो किया जाता है, लेकिन पांच किलोमीटर के पूरे दायरे में सुरक्षा की गारंटी नहीं है। श्रद्धालुओं को मंदिर परिसर में रहने और अनजान लोगों के साथ बाहर जाने से बचने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।
