प्रयागराज में शिक्षा निदेशालय में TGT-PGT उम्मीदवारों का अनिश्चितकालीन धरना पुलिस ने जबरन खत्म करा दिया। छात्र पुराने नियमों और पैटर्न के तहत भर्ती की मांग कर रहे थे। जब छात्रों ने कानपुर हाईवे जाम कर दिया तो पुलिस ने हस्तक्षेप किया और प्रदर्शन उग्र हो गया। बातचीत विफल होने के बाद पुलिस ने बलपूर्वक हाईवे खाली कराया और प्रदर्शन समाप्त कराया, जिसके बाद दर्जनों छात्रों को हिरासत में ले लिया गया। इस कार्रवाई से छात्रों में काफी नाराजगी है।
