India's first bullet train is taking shape, with its car body now manufactured and undergoing crucial 'squeeze tests' to ensure structural integrity. Designed for a speed of 280 kmph, the train will have an operational speed of 250 kmph and will feature eight coaches. The manufacturing process, focused on indigenous engineering, is taking place at BEML's facility in Bengaluru. Following structural tests, propulsion systems and other components will be installed. The train will also undergo rigorous climate testing in extreme heat and cold.

भारत की पहली बुलेट ट्रेन का आकार ले रही है, जिसकी कार बॉडी अब बन चुकी है और संरचनात्मक अखंडता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण 'स्क्वीज़ टेस्ट' से गुज़र रही है। 280 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ़्तार के लिए डिज़ाइन की गई यह ट्रेन 250 किमी प्रति घंटे की परिचालन गति से चलेगी और इसमें आठ कोच होंगे। स्वदेशी इंजीनियरिंग पर केंद्रित निर्माण प्रक्रिया बेंगलुरु में BEML की सुविधा में हो रही है। संरचनात्मक परीक्षणों के बाद, प्रोपल्शन सिस्टम और अन्य पुर्जे लगाए जाएंगे। ट्रेन को अत्यधिक गर्मी और सर्दी में कठोर जलवायु परीक्षणों से भी गुज़रना होगा।
