Pakistan Offers PKR 7 Million Bounty For Masood

Pakistan has raised the bounty for information leading to the arrest of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar to PKR 7 million (approximately Rs 24.09 lakh). The Federal Investigation Agency lists Azhar, founder of the Pakistan-based terror group, as a most-wanted terrorist. JeM is accused of numerous attacks against India, including the 2001 Parliament attack and the 2019 Pulwama bombing. Azhar, designated a UN terrorist, was released by India in 1999 in exchange for hostages.

पाकिस्तान ने जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के सरगना मसूद अजहर को पकड़वाने की जानकारी देने वाले को 70 लाख पाकिस्तानी रुपये (लगभग 24.09 लाख रुपये) का इनाम देने की घोषणा की है। फेडरल इन्वेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी ने अजहर को मोस्ट-वांटेड आतंकी बताया है। जैश-ए-मोहम्मद पर भारत में कई हमलों का आरोप है, जिनमें 2001 का संसद हमला और 2019 का पुलवामा हमला शामिल है। मसूद अजहर को भारत ने 1999 में बंधकों की रिहाई के बदले छोड़ा था।
