Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A P Singh acknowledged that Pakistan's reported collaboration with China on fifth-generation fighter jets is a concern. However, he stated that the IAF possesses the necessary capabilities to counter this threat for the time being. Singh emphasized the need to accelerate the induction of fifth-generation aircraft and advance the indigenous Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) program. He also noted that the effectiveness of fighter jets depends on integration with other military capabilities, not just the platform itself.
