भारत के विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में पाकिस्तान को कड़ा जवाब देते हुए कहा कि आतंकवाद को सामान्य बनाने की कोशिशें सफल नहीं होंगी। 81वें संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा सत्र को संबोधित करते हुए, जयशंकर ने आतंकवाद के खिलाफ अपनी रक्षा करने के भारत के अधिकार पर जोर दिया, इसे वैश्विक शांति के लिए एक लगातार खतरा बताया। उन्होंने उन लोगों की आलोचना की जिन्होंने तथ्यों को गलत तरीके से पेश किया और आतंकवादी कृत्यों के लिए छूट मांगी। जयशंकर ने शून्य-सहिष्णुता दृष्टिकोण पर जोर दिया, राज्य-प्रायोजित, सीमा पार आतंकवाद के लिए जवाबदेही और इसके वित्तीय पहलुओं के खुलासे की मांग की।
