Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Suggests Wearable Temple Could Monitor Pilot Fitness
Times of India · technology
Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has proposed that his new wearable device, Temple, could potentially be used to assess pilot fitness for flying. He also envisions its application within the Indian Air Force to identify individuals best suited for specific missions. Temple, worn on the temple area, uses BrainFlow technology to track changes in brain blood flow. While a validation study showed promising correlations with blood volume changes, the technology is still in research and not yet approved for aviation safety or pilot assessment.
