Sanjay Raut Alleges FDA Officials Demanding Bribes

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has alleged that Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials are demanding bribes ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs 2 lakh from hotels and restaurants. Raut claimed these officials are threatening to suspend licenses to extort money, exploiting the crackdown initiated by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe. He stated that this 'industry of collecting money' has intensified, with the FDA's Bandra headquarters and Thane office being primary locations for such demands.

संजय राउत का आरोप, FDA अधिकारी मांग रहे हैं रिश्वत

शिवसेना (यूबीटी) के सांसद संजय राउत ने आरोप लगाया है कि फूड एंड ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (FDA) के अधिकारी होटलों और रेस्तरां से 75,000 रुपये से 2 लाख रुपये तक की रिश्वत मांग रहे हैं। राउत ने दावा किया कि ये अधिकारी पैसे ऐंठने के लिए लाइसेंस निलंबित करने की धमकी दे रहे हैं, जिसका फायदा FDA कमिश्नर तुकाराम मुंडे द्वारा शुरू की गई कार्रवाई उठा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पैसे इकट्ठा करने का यह 'उद्योग' तेज हो गया है, जिसमें FDA का बांद्रा मुख्यालय और ठाणे कार्यालय ऐसी मांगों के मुख्य स्थान हैं।
