Bombay HC Plea Seeks RBI Direction For Tata Sons' Stock Market Listing

A petition filed in the Bombay High Court is urging the Reserve Bank of India to direct Tata Sons to list its shares on the BSE and NSE. The petitioners argue that its continued status as an unlisted private company is against public interest, as public charitable trusts own a significant portion of its shares. They also seek the removal of Noel Tata as chairman of Tata Trusts and director of Tata Sons.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में दायर एक याचिका में रिज़र्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया से टाटा संस को BSE और NSE पर अपने शेयर लिस्ट कराने का निर्देश देने की अपील की गई है। याचिकाकर्ताओं का तर्क है कि एक अनलिस्टेड प्राइवेट कंपनी के रूप में इसकी निरंतर स्थिति जनहित के खिलाफ है, क्योंकि इसके शेयरों का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा पब्लिक चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के पास है। वे टाटा ट्रस्ट्स के चेयरमैन और टाटा संस के डायरेक्टर के पद से नोएल टाटा को हटाने की भी मांग कर रहे हैं।
