The United States is pleased to be a significant energy supplier to India as New Delhi diversifies its energy sources, according to a senior US official. This growing partnership spans energy, defence, and commercial cooperation, with South Asia now a major priority for the Trump administration. The US is currently the largest exporter of LPG to India. This collaboration also includes advancements in civil nuclear cooperation following India's reform of its nuclear regulatory environment.
