Kerala Govt Begins Process To Appoint Permanent V-Cs

Kerala's Higher Education Minister Roji M. John announced that the government has initiated preliminary steps to appoint permanent Vice-Chancellors in all state universities. He highlighted that many universities currently lack permanent V-Cs, and the state is seeking a lasting solution to this ongoing issue. The Minister also condemned any attempts to communalize or ideologically polarize university governance. He stated the government will not tolerate such interventions, asserting a commitment to fair appointments and administrative decisions.

केरल के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री रोजी एम. जॉन ने घोषणा की है कि सरकार ने सभी राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों में स्थायी वाइस-चांसलर (वी-सी) नियुक्त करने के लिए शुरुआती कदम उठा दिए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि कई विश्वविद्यालयों में अभी स्थायी वी-सी नहीं हैं, और राज्य इस लगातार बनी हुई समस्या का स्थायी समाधान ढूंढ रहा है। मंत्री ने विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के सांप्रदायिकरण या वैचारिक ध्रुवीकरण के किसी भी प्रयास की निंदा की। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ऐसे हस्तक्षेप को बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगी, और निष्पक्ष नियुक्तियों और प्रशासनिक निर्णयों के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता जताई।
