The students suspect their condition worsened after consuming chicken for dinner the previous night. However, college administration suggests the illness could be due to a viral fever. Doctors also mentioned viral infections and the hot weather as potential causes, with tests for malaria, typhoid, and dengue being conducted on some students.

तेलंगाना के एक महिला पॉलीटेक्निक हॉस्टल में करीब 28 छात्रों ने बुखार, सिरदर्द, उल्टी और बेचैनी जैसे लक्षणों के साथ बीमार पड़ने की सूचना दी। छात्रों को शक है कि पिछली रात रात के खाने में चिकन खाने के बाद उनकी हालत बिगड़ गई। हालांकि, कॉलेज प्रशासन का सुझाव है कि यह बीमारी वायरल बुखार के कारण हो सकती है। हॉस्टल की पानी की आपूर्ति पर प्रारंभिक जांच में सामान्य TDS रीडिंग दिखाई गई। डॉक्टरों ने वायरल संक्रमण और गर्म मौसम को भी संभावित कारण बताया, और कुछ छात्रों पर मलेरिया, टाइफाइड और डेंगू के लिए परीक्षण किए जा रहे हैं।
