Delhi to Launch Yamuna Ferry Service Ahead of Chhath Puja

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the Yamuna ferry service will be launched a few days before Chhath Puja, which is celebrated from November 13-16. The service, named "Namo Yamuna," will operate on a 5-km stretch between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur. This one-hour cruise aims to offer passengers scenic views of the riverbanks and ghats. The ferry, a 40-foot river cruise boat, is designed for stability and shallow water operation. Tickets are expected to cost around ₹500 per person.
