Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara has stated that a recent Finance Department advisory on financial management does not signify a state financial crisis. He clarified that the advisory aimed to caution against unbudgeted projects exceeding ₹1,000 crore, which could pressure cash flow. Parameshwara assured that the government remains committed to financial discipline, noting the state's deficit and liabilities are within FRBM limits. He also referenced past advisories issued during previous governments to emphasize that financial prudence is a continuous responsibility.

कर्नाटक के डिप्टी सीएम जी. परमेश्वर ने कहा है कि वित्तीय प्रबंधन पर हालिया सलाह का मतलब यह नहीं कि राज्य में पैसों की तंगी है। उन्होंने साफ किया कि यह सलाह ₹1,000 करोड़ से ऊपर के बिना बजट वाले प्रोजेक्ट्स से बचने के लिए थी, जिससे पैसों के प्रवाह पर असर पड़ सकता है। परमेश्वर ने भरोसा दिलाया कि सरकार वित्तीय अनुशासन बनाए रखेगी और राज्य का घाटा व देनदारी FRBM सीमाओं के अंदर है। उन्होंने पिछली सरकारों के दौरान भी ऐसी सलाहें जारी होने का जिक्र किया।
