Germany Pulls Out of Boeing's Ghost Bat Drone Deal, Realigns Plans

Germany has informed Boeing that it will not directly purchase the MQ-28 Ghost Bat drone wingman as Berlin revises its Collaborative Combat Aircraft program. The German ministry of defence cited procurement laws for not disclosing specific reasons for the decision. This move comes as Germany proceeds with acquiring F-35 fighter jets from the US, but adopts a more cautious approach to its next-generation uncrewed combat aircraft.
