Ganjam Schools Closed Till November 2 Due To Heavy Rainfall

Ganjam district administration has extended holidays for all educational institutions, including anganwadi centres, until November 2. This decision comes in the aftermath of heavy rainfall influenced by Cyclone Arnab. Earlier, holidays were declared only until Saturday. The district collector stated that the extension is due to the prevailing situation. Many residents from affected areas have been temporarily housed in schools after being relocated by the administration.

गंजाम जिला प्रशासन ने चक्रवात अर्नाब से प्रभावित भारी बारिश के बाद सभी स्कूलों और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों में छुट्टियों को 2 नवंबर तक बढ़ा दिया है। पहले यह छुट्टियां सिर्फ शनिवार तक थीं। जिला कलेक्टर ने कहा कि मौजूदा हालात को देखते हुए यह फैसला लिया गया है। प्रशासन ने प्रभावित इलाकों से कई लोगों को निकालकर स्कूलों में अस्थायी तौर पर ठहराया है।
